    • Those in the final year of their Master’s degree are also eligible to apply.
    • The age limit for JRF is 30 years, while there is no upper age limit for those applying for the Assistant Professor role.

    • The application fee varies based on the candidate’s category and the number of papers applied for. Payment can be made online via net banking, credit card, or debit card.
  3. Exam Pattern:
    • UGC NET comprises two papers, namely Paper I (common for all candidates) and Paper II (subject-specific).
    • Paper I consists of 50 questions, and Paper II comprises 100 questions. Both papers are conducted online, with each having a duration of 2 hours.
