Qualification:
- ITI Apprentice Course:
- The candidate must have passed the 10th class examination or its equivalent (under the 10+2 examination system) with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized board.
- Also, the candidate must have passed ITI in the relevant trade.
- Non-ITI Apprentice Course:
- The candidate must have passed the 10th class examination or its equivalent (under the 10+2 examination system) with a minimum of 50% marks.
Application Fee:
- UR/EWS/OBC: Rs 100/-
- SC/ST/PWD/Female: Nil
Age Limit:
- Minimum Age: 15 Years
- Maximum Age for ITI: 24 Years
- Maximum Age for Non-ITI: 22 Years
- Age Relaxation as per Rules.
Stipend: Banaras Locomotive Works Apprentice Stipend will be paid in accordance with Railway Board’s/Labour ministry instructions issued from time to time.
Selection Process: The selection will be based on a merit list prepared for each unit, considering the percentage of marks obtained in the Matriculation Examination (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks). For Non-ITI selection, ITI passed candidates will be selected without any weightage for their ITI score; they must only possess a mark sheet/certificate of the notified trade.
